Course Overview

BSc Cardiac care Technology is a course which trains students to apply their skills in conducting Electrocardiograms, Echocardiographs and assisting the Physician in Cardiac catheterization procedures. The course is designed in such a way that the students will become experts in various diagnostic modalities related to cardiovascular diseases as well as analysing the results of the various tests.

Duration shall be for a period of Four years, which includes six semesters and one year of internship and concepts in cardio vascular areas. To evolve an well trained and qualified Cardiac care technologist capable of working independently in the field of Cardiology. The course is designed to enable the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills and concepts in cardio vascular areas.

Eligibility for Admission

A candidate seeking admission to B.Sc. Cardiovascular Technology shall have completed the age of 17 as on 31st December of the year of admission and have studied English as one of the principle subject during the tenure of the course.
